Archtop Guitars and Books

X-STOCK The History Of The American Guitar.

This copy is reduced because there is damage to the Dust Jackets. Small tears and rubbing. However, the book it self is in almost new condition and it would be listed for almost twice this price if there was no damage to the Dust Jackets.

The History Of The American Guitar.

Author: Tony Bacon.

Year: 2001

Condition: (Used) Hard cover bruised and Dust Jacket has small tears and of shelf edge wear. A great reference book.

Size: 325mm x260mm

Hard bound 2001 edition with Dust Jacket. Out of print but this is one of the best guitar books I have ever seen. It's a classic and if you can not afford the Scott Chinery Collection Book then buy this because it is very similar and by the same author. Yes the famous Guitar Author Tony Bacon. The only reason the Scott Chinery Collection book costs so much is because ther were only about 6,000 copies produced. But just like that great book, this book has 148 big pages full of guitars from 1833 to 2001. Many of the pages also fold out to give you even bigger and better photos of some of the worlds best and finest guitars. The best known collection in the world belonged to Scott Chinery and this book will give you a great insight into that collection.
